eXploitedis a hardcore gaming community. Our aim is to provide a competitive atmosphere for MMORPG gamers who are looking to push content, break limits, and redefine what is possible. At the launch any given title, expansion, or server, our players are expected to dedicate 16 or more hours a day, in order to claim server firsts on all raid content. We do not accept defeat.
With that said, the following are the rules that binds us together and provides structure for how our guild operates. Every member is responsible for knowing and understanding these rules.
Sec. 1- Stand your ground, defend your brothers.
Cowardice is the ultimate sin and cowardice shown before the enemy, shall not be tolerated.
Sec. 2- Loot
Loot will be distributed using a DKP System and will be kept up-to-date on the guild website.
Any "reserved" items WILL be made clear by leadership BEFORE the start of any raid. If an item is not specifically reserved before the start of the raid, it will be up for bid.
Plans, Patterns, etc., as well as crafting materials, are ALWAYS reserved for the Guild Crafters, and will be looted to and handled by, the Guild Quartermaster.
DKP bids will be placed in accordance to a Blind Bidding System handled by the Officer In Charge of loot for the raid (henceforce called OIC). Tie bids will be decided by the first player to place the tying bid.
The DKP cost of any item is always ONE DKP more than the SECOND HIGHEST bid.
Example: Three players bid on a weapon,
Player A, bids 4 DKP
Player B, bids 8 DKP
Player C, bids 11 DKP
Result: Player C would recieve the weapon for 9 DKP. The other two bidders would lose no DKP.
When a boss is killed, the OIC shall loot the corpse—NO one else should ever touch a boss corpse. Once the OIC is ready, he shall announce: "X Officer taking bids on Y item." You will then whisper that Officer with your DKP bid.
Item priority for who is able to bid will be public before the start of any raid. You may only ever bid with DKP you have acrued from at least the night before. You may never bid with DKP you earned that night, and you may never bid with DKP you have not yet earned.
NOTE: The only exception, will be for the first 2 weeks of raiding: Raiders shall be awarded a DKP defecit of 10 to bid on items. This means, you can bid up to -10 for the first 2 weeks.
DKP will be awarded as follows:
+1= being on-time. This means you're at the designated staging area, with all consumeables and ready-to-move 15 minutes before the scheduled raid time.
+2= for any raid boss kill "in-tier", meaning during its current content patch.
+1= for any raid boss kill, "out-of-tier" (example, killing Lucifron while AQ patch is live).
+2 Bonus= for "Guild 1st" kills, per boss.
+1 Bonus= for any "Horde 1st" kill.
+1 Bonus= for answering a call to down a World Boss.
+1Bonus To Raid Backup Members= for being on standby and ready-to-go when a replacement is needed, whether you become part of that raid or not.
DKP may be subtracted as follows:
-3= Failure to provide Leads with a minimum of 48 hours notice that you will not be attending the raid.
-3= AFK during an encounter without notifying raid chat.
-1= Pulling threat from a tank.
-1= Pulling mobs without authorization to do so.
-1= Looting during combat.
-6 OR +33% in addition to the total amount bidded (whichever is greatest)= 'Accidentally' being awarded loot, after bidding with DKP that would overdraw your DKP balance.
-1 (scaling in -2 incraments, for each additional infraction)= Failure to pay Dues. (see Sec. 3 - Dues)
Item and DKP disputes will ALWAYS be handled after the raid. There will be no discussion of loot or DKP disputes during a raid. Zero tolerance.
NOTE: Officers reserve the right to subtract DKP, but will use progressive discipline before doing so. A private warning, followed by a private counseling, either in text or voice will be issued before any DKP subtraction. A direct appeal to the Section Leader may be made, via message on our website, at the conclusion of the raid night. Details of the dispute, including screenshots or video should be attached. Without evidence to the contrary, eXploited will use a "ruling on the field" guideline, meaning that the DKP penalty will stick - unless you provide evidence to overturn it.
Sec. 3 -Dues
Dues will be paid in the form of:
Raw gathered materials
Completion of Special Assignments assigned to you by an Officer.
Each player who is not a Guild Crafter, will be required to farm and send a given amount of materials (the quality/quantity required of said materials will be based off of the needs of our Guild Crafters), per week, to the Guild Quartermaster. The Quartermaster will then distribute said materials to the appropriate Guild Crafter. The crafters will then use those materials to provide whatever consumeables, gear, and enchants to those with the RAIDER or above tag, free of charge.
Failure to pay weekly dues will result in a DKP penalty. Further penalties will result in discipline, up to and including loot restriction, raid restriction, and membership termination. ALL members and recruits are expected to pay guild dues, even if you have not yet earned the Raider status.
Sec. 4 -Voice Chat and Notifications
Voice Chat via Discord will be entered during ALL Guild Raids.
Push-to-talk will be utilized. There will be NO "Voice Activation" during raids.
No one will speak during raids, unless assigned to do so by the Raid Leader. Class Leads, Tanks, and Officers will be the ONLY ones speaking during raid time, until content is trivial.
Once World Bosses go live, every member will be required to follow the Guild's Twitter Feed and have Notifications enabled.
Sec. 5- This is a mature guild.
We will only recruit players who are over the age of 18 years. Due to the nature of our chat and discord, no one will be accepted below the age of 18.
Things said, and posted in Guild Chat or on Discord, are not appropriate for viewing by anyone, especially children.
All sorts of discussions are encouraged. The only form of chat that is not allowed, is posting/linking material that is illegal in the United States, or harmful to members.
Sec. 6- Real Money Trading and Guild Finances
eXploited will never sell or trade raid loot or roster positions, for real life currency or favors. The integrity of the guild and the faith of our members is paramount.
Funds donated to the guild, will always be used for their intended purpose, and shall be public record. (Paying for websites, etc.)
